NABET Accreditation for Quality School Governance

NABET - OVERVIEW

The National Accreditation Board for Education and Training (NABET) has developed a mechanism for accrediting educational organizations, vocational training centers, and skill certification bodies. The NABET accreditation program for Quality School Governance aims to provide a framework for the effective management and delivery of holistic education programs that focus on the overall development of students.

The NABET Accreditation Standards for Quality School Governance (3rd Edition, August 2016) promote transparency in school governance and specify the requirements for accreditation across different educational levels (Pre-primary, Primary, Secondary, and Higher Secondary).

Schools are rated on a maturity assessment scale ranging from Benchmarking, Achiever, Organised, Beginner, to Struggle, based on their adherence to governance standards.
